Yu Jin Lee practices Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Element Acupuncture as a licensed acupuncturist. Her medical practice focuses on maximizing the vitality of her patients through the use of acupuncture, Chinese herbs, natural supplements, Tuina (Chinese medical massage), and Qigong (a form of moving meditation). During her acupuncture treatment, she offers an opportunity for her patients to experience a healing state in their mind, body, and spirit. With regular sessions, she hopes to guide her patients out of their disease and pain and into a more harmonious state of wellbeing.

She frequently works with patients with digestive disorders, insomnia, stress, and various pain conditions such as tennis elbow, frozen shoulder, and back pain. Not only does she work with chronic pain conditions, she is trained to help heal acute injuries and to promote faster and more efficient post-operative recovery. Furthermore, she finds supporting her patients who are working to overcome their addictions and trauma rewarding. She is grateful and honored to be able to offer to her patients a sense of peace and grounding through acupuncture as they move through difficult transitions in their lives.

Yu Jin Lee was born in South Korea and moved to the United States early in her childhood with her family. She studied Biology with a concentration in Neurobiology and Animal Behavior at Cornell University. She had initially planned to pursue veterinary medicine, but her deep passion for holistic living and ancient wisdoms led her to National University of Natural Medicine where she graduated with a Masters in Oriental Medicine.

During her time at NUNM, Yu Jin met her teacher Master Zhongxian Wu. As a life-long student of Master Wu, a multiple lineage holder of ancient Chinese art of internal cultivation, she studies Daoist (Taoist) philosophies and practices Taijiquan (Tai Chi Chuan) and Qigong (Chi Kung), a form of moving meditation and breath work that is utilized to strengthen physiology and promote inner harmony. She enjoys sharing simple Qigong exercises with her patients to support their journey to wellness.
