Chief Instructor: Joanna Flores, LAc, MAcOM, AOBTA (CP-Zen Shiatsu)
Select Fridays from 11pm-1pm, Starting August 15th, 2014
Joanna was certified in Jade Body Qigong from Master Liu Dong in 2000, and again from Madame Liu He in 2003 through their school, the Ling Gui International Healing Qigong school. Jade Body Qigong is Joanna's favorite as it directly nourishes all 3 parts of our spine. Through our spine, we can access all of our organs, nerves, and pathways to Heaven and Earth. Once learned, the form takes 20-30 minutes to perform. Many choose this form of qigong as their individual home practice. Please plan to attend around 10 classes in order to fully learn the form well enough for solo home practice. Joanna will format the beginning of each class for a 10 minute spotlight on different sections of the form, to improve technique for well versed practitioners and for beginners to learn one section very well. Then, we will do the entire form together. The last 30 minutes of class will highlight the parts of the form which class participants need most. In this way, Veterans can enjoy a 30-40 minute class and beginners can walk away with comfortable sections until they master the entire form.
There will be no class Friday 10/3, 10/10, 10/24, 10/31, 11/14, and 11/21, 12/26, 1/2/2015, and 1/9/2015.
